Many times we are busy throughout the day to the point that we find no time to prepare a good meal. You could be busy at work in the office until dusk, or camping in the wild countryside.

You can quickly prepare instant foods and get them ready for eating within ten minutes. Most of these foods require you to just add boiling water for you to get a hot ready-to-eat meal. Add some of your favorite dry ingredients to give a desired flavor and soup for you to preserve your meal for a longer time so that you can eat it whenever you feel like. Such meals can easily be packed in a tightly sealed thermos food container and go with them either to work or camping.

During the preparation for all of the following instant meals, you will need to assemble all the mentioned ingredients not forgetting garlic powder, ground black pepper, and salt into a quart freezer Ziploc bag which you will have to seal tightly. To start cooking, pour hot water in the bag and then seal it to soak the ingredients for 9 minutes while turning the bag upside down for 3 minutes to mix and redistribute the ingredients. To make this instant meal, you’ll need a one-third cup of whole wheat couscous, a teaspoon of chia seeds or ground flaxseed, frozen dried chopped chicken, a half-cup of freeze dried mixed vegetables, freeze dried onions, powdered chicken flavor base or bouillon granules and freeze dried poultry herb blend.

Fiesta Rice with Corn & Chicken


Get a one-third cup of instant brown rice, a teaspoon of chia seeds, 1/3 cup of freeze dried chopped chicken, a half-cupful of freeze dried corn, a quarter-cup of freeze dried chopped tomatoes, minced jalapeno, dried onions or onion flakes, powdered chicken flavor base, chili powder, cumin, dried Mexican oregano and dried cilantro.

Creamy Alfredo Noodles with Chicken, Mushrooms, & Pine Nuts


To prepare tasty creamy alfredo noodles, get one cup of broken pasta, chia seeds or ground flaxseed, freeze dried chopped chicken, pine nuts, dried chopped mushrooms, powdered chicken flavor base, grated Parmesan cheese, instant dried buttermilk powder or the regular powdered milk, corn starch and the dried Italian herb blend.

CousCous with Apricots, Macadamia Nuts, & Chicken

Enjoy this quick meal by adding a one-third cup of whole wheat couscous, chia seeds, freeze dried chopped chicken, chopped dried apricots, coarsely chopped macadamia nuts, freeze dried spring onions, powdered chicken flavor base, and dried thyme.

 Curry Rice with Chicken & Cashews


Just get a 2/3 cup of instant brown rice, chia seeds, dried chopped chicken, chopped roasted cashews, freeze dried mixed vegetables, dried onions, powdered chicken flavor base and curry powder.

Thai Peanut Noodles with Chicken & Vegetables


Enjoy some Thai Peanut Noodles prepared with chicken and vegetables by getting a cup of broken pasta, chia seeds, dried chopped chicken, chopped roasted peanuts, dried mixed vegetables of your choice, powdered chicken flavor base, PB2 powdered peanut butter, dried cilantro, ground ginger, and if you want a spicier taste, then you can as well add a pinch or more of ground cayenne pepper.
